Where Kindness connects us all
Now in its 6th year, Kindness Festival continues to be Darwin’s signature celebration of culture, community, and diversity.
Organised by Kindness Shake, a local not-for-profit led by international students and migrants, the festival creates a space where people connect through shared experiences, creativity, and culture.
This year’s theme Is a reminder that no matter where we come from, kindness is something we all share.
A FREE, family-friendly festival celebrating culture, kindness, and community through food, music, performances, and shared experiences. Everyone is welcome.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Multicultural Parade – Colourful, joyful, and proudly diverse
- Live Performances – Traditional, modern, and multicultural acts
- Global Food Stalls – Authentic flavours from around the world
- Interactive Activities – Creative and cultural experiences
- Games for All Ages – Fun for families, kids, and friends

The events will be held on Peninsula Lawns and Palm Grove. The surrounding area is connected by wide concrete pathways.

- Accessible toilets and Changing Places facilities are located in the new Amenities Block in the parklands.
- A water wheelchair is available for free use, simply ask the lifeguards on duty.
