Public Notice - Tree Works

Essential tree works | 14 November to 8 December

Please be aware that from Tuesday, 14 November to Friday, 8 December the stairway connecting Jervois Road to Darwin Esplanade via Damoe Ra Park will be closed for essential tree works between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Following the recommendations of a qualified arborist's risk assessment report that highlighted significant safety concerns, a number of mature trees will be removed during the works. The removal of trees is not something we take lightly, however, the safety of patrons remains our priority. Mature trees will be planted in the area and we appreciate your patience and understanding while works are completed.

Darwin CBD can still be accessed via Hughes Avenue.

Alternative parking is available across the Darwin Waterfront. View parking options here.
