A joyful Christmas-themed dance class for the little ones

Come and join a FREE  Lilypad Dance class on the Waterfront Christmas stage!


Bring tinsel, drums and jingle bells and embrace the festive spirit with a joyful Christmas-themed dance class.

Dance alongside bouncing snow-white boomers and shiny-nosed Rudolphs in a fun, creative movement session designed to spark imaginations. Superheroes, Ballerinas, Fairies and Elves are all welcome as we celebrate Christmas with excitement, creativity and while dancing to some classic carols.


This special session is hosted by Nightcliff High School Students and is open to children aged 2 to 7 years old.


When: Wednesday 17 December 2025

Times: 6pm

Where: Christmas stage on Peninsula Lawns

This event will be held on the Peninsula Lawns and Palm Grove. The surrounding area is connected by wide concrete pathways.

The Darwin Waterfront is closing out another fantastic year in true Territory style with our annual New Year’s Eve concert and spectacular fireworks display to welcome 2026. New Year's Eve at Darwin Waterfront is a free event, and no ticket is required. LINE-UP: Australian alternative rock legends, Eskimo Joe Papa and the Bears S hake It Off Show Sabrina Live, "not for real, but pretty close" DJ JLC Picnics are welcome. This year's event is alcohol & smoke free.
