Celebrate the Magic of Christmas

Celebrate the magic of Christmas at the Darwin Waterfront with a brand-new large-scale Christmas Light Trail and a packed program of festive events. Eleven dazzling new decorations will join the Waterfront’s existing collection, creating a spectacular 1km trail that winds throughout the precinct.

New additions include a large-scale Santa, lighthouse and giant octopus, making the trail a mix of traditional Christmas with the Waterfront’s seaside identity.

The trail officially opens on Saturday, 29 November and throughout December visitors can enjoy pop-up performers, face painting, and roving entertainment every night, plus special appearances from Santa every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
