Darwin Waterfront is excited to welcome the Territory's spiciest and tastiest event to its parklands!


The Laksa Festival Grand Finale will be held on Saturday 1 November, from 3pm on Peninsula Lawns, and is a celebration of all things laksa, our multi-cultural community and this year's Laksa Festival participating venues and dishes. 


Thousands of Territorians and visitors flock to the Finale to enjoy the many delicious laksa or laksa-inspired by dishes on-offer from amazing local venues. Attendees can expect food eating competitions, cooking demonstrations, roving entertainment, live music and the presentation of this year's laksa festival awards:

  • Laksa League Champion
  • People's Choice: Best Laksa
  • People's Choice: Best Laksa Inspired-By
  • People's Choice: Regional Best Laksa 
  • People's Choice: Regional Best Laksa Inspired-By 
  • Regional Best Laksa
  • The Golden Bowl

Accessibility:

This event will be held in the parklands on the lawns with access over grassed areas. The surrounding area is connected by wide concrete pathways.
