Territory Day Celebrations

The skies will ignite at the Darwin Waterfront on Sunday 1 July to celebrate Territory Day in honour of the 40th anniversary of self-government.

The free festivities will commence from 5pm with a fireworks finale at 8pm.

Performances by some of Darwin’s best local artists will provide entertainment throughout the event. The line-up of talent will include acoustics by Jordan Ravi, Will Hatch and Max Fredericks along with appearances by DJ and MC Daniel Aitken.

Yenz Entertainment will be spreading their magic with roving glitter gurus and kapow balloon twisters.

Surrounding restaurants and cafes will be trading for the evening with a front row seat of the fireworks so be sure to make a booking. There will also be a range of delicious takeaway options available to purchase.

Pack a hamper, bring a picnic rug and chairs and arrive early to secure a spot on the lawns. Eskys are welcome, however glass and alcohol are not permitted.

A restriction of personal fireworks will apply within areas of the precinct throughout the event.
