Stage Two
Stage Two will be a staged development, to be built progressively over time, and is the responsibility of the Stage Two Project Developer, the Toga Group.
Although Stage Two is primarily for residential purposes, incorporating 1300 apartments, it will also feature a mixed-use commercial and retail component similar to that in Stage One.
Stage Two will also deliver a further $63 million in community infrastructure, including:
- roads and services
- heritage trails
- a pedestrian promenade around the residential wharves
- public parks running parallel to the wharf development
- a public park at Fort Hill currently referred to as Goyder Park
Stage Two will also feature a lock to create a marina for safe berthing of sea craft which will form part of the residential development.
It is expected full site development will occur over 15 years. The final sunset date for completion of the development is 2020.
