New Year’s Eve firework display
Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Waterfront.
The opening of the Darwin Waterfront this year has provided more viewing options and better opportunities for free family activities such as jumping castles and face painting for the kids.
And, this year the firework display will be synchronised to music! But, you will need to be on the Waterfront beach side to experience this.
For those who prefer to watch the display from Stokes Hill Wharf there will be a band playing between 6pm-9pm and they will finish playing minutes before the spectacular firework show kicks off.
The fun at the Waterfront (near the new Wave Lagoon) starts at 6pm with the firework display at 9pm.
Please remember this is an alcohol and glass free event.
Free parking hours at the Kitchener Drive multi-storey car park has been extended to the first four hours free from 6pm.
